ABOUT

Here at Vancouver Student Literary and Scientific Journal, we are driven by a single goal: to give students the opportunity to publish their own original works and go through a peer review process. We believe the interchange of ideas is key to solving the world's issues.

Founder

Thomas is currently a junior at Brown University studying a combination of East Asian Studies, Economics, and Computer Science. He founded the Vancouver Student Literary and Scientific Journal in 2017 because he was involved in research in high-school and found there was a growing community of high-school students interested in research. Thomas has interned in both the private sector as an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse and in the public sector as a social enterprise student volunteer in the Office of Development Credit at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. Currently, his research interests include development economics in East Asian economies and microcredit operations in the developing world. He looks forward to working with and mentoring the team at VSLSJ.
